La Négation

To make sentences negative in the French language, you need to put the verb in between the two (or sometimes three) negative words. For example, if you have the sentence, J'ai une pomme, you can make it negative by taking the words ne and pas (the negative words fo no, or not) and putting them around the verb, which would make the sentence, Je n'ai une pomme.
Les mots de Négation:
ne... pas = no, not
ne... plus = no longer
ne... rien = nothing
ne... personne = no one
ne... jamais = never
ne... aucun(e) = not any
ne... que = only
ne... ni... ni = neither, nor
